Jan Rivero was born in Madrid in 1978. From the earliest years showed great interest in various aspects of science while demonstrating a fondness for the arts which led to several awards for drawing and painting. With 10 years already programmed his first computer, a ZX Spectrum, to generate images defining coordinate lines. In the following years and now with its first PC, a 486 at 33MHz, youth club started reliza including both two-dimensional images and images created with software rendering 3-D.
In 1996 he began studying aeronautical engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, during which he won several competitions for three-dimensional computer graphics, including publication of his works in the magazine PCACTUAL. During those college years acquired considerable knowledge of mathematics, such as applying the fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, the movement of the stars, etc.
It was at this time that a university contest of fractal images, national, led to his interest in fractals and studying them. In this contest took second place with a scheduled three-dimensional image in POV-RAY, and next year's edition was again rewarded.
Later a free election, "Fractals in the network," allowed him to go deeper into the matter, and during the following years, and because once the race, continued to develop his love of fractal images generated by various methods.
Has recently begun a professional to create such images, with the emotion of art to enter a world little explored and many possibilities due to its special characteristics. Currently exhibiting and selling their works on the page www.destinofractal.com.
